Bifacial Technology: Increasing Output Per Square Meter
What is Bifacial Technology?
Bifacial Photovoltaic technology is not new; it just has not been utilized efficiently until now. Bifacial cells are able to produce energy from both sides of a solar panel. When coupled with a highly reflective roofing surface, energy production is maximized.
Maximizing Energy Production
Roof top energy projects are restricted only by the amount of roof space that is available. A projects investment return is directly related to the amount of power that can be produced per square foot of roof surface. Power Home Solar's Commercial Division designs its energy systems with bifacial solar modules that absorb direct sun energy from one side AND reflected sun energy from the other.
Our commercial solar energy systems utilize the highly reflective qualities of our roofing membrane with the high output and efficiency of bifacial photovoltaic cell technology to provide a truly complete solution that is unique in its ability to produce the highest economic return on investment while minimizing future roof maintenance costs for the economic life of the system.

Improved Energy Output
Bifacial solar modules will improve overall energy production over almost any type of surface, but when they are designed to optimize their potential performance, a reflective surface under them means more energy produced.
With an SRI (Solar Reflective Index) of over 97%, applied elastomeric roofing systems allow for maximum energy production with Bifacial cell technology. This is the primary focus of our engineering and design team; to provide the customer with more watts per square foot of roof, and provide the project with a healthy warranty and foundation so that future unscheduled repairs do not restrict the investment pay back.
The Bifacial Module Has Other Important Qualities

Frameless design comprised of sealed glass panels back and front.

Frameless design eliminates additional grounding of panels to racking.

More energy per module reduces the number of modules needed, reducing other install costs.

Efficiency results above 20% – One of the most efficient cell technologies on the market.
