Helping Ohio Own Their Power
POWERHOME SOLAR and Roofing is now bringing new renewable energy solutions and economic growth opportunities to residents and businesses in Ohio.
POWERHOME SOLAR opened a new office in Worthington, Ohio, a northern suburb of Columbus, in May, 2018. The Ohio expansion marks a period of continual growth for the company, due in part to the dramatically decreasing costs of solar panels, federal and state renewable energy tax incentives, and POWERHOME SOLAR’s commitment to using only American-Made products and performing all of its services solely with company employees to help boost local economies.
POWERHOME SOLAR has grown from a 2015 launch in Mooresville, North Carolina, with only 15 employees, to one of Inc. 500’s Top 100 America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies, and the largest residential provider of solar energy solutions in North Carolina, South Carolina, Michigan, and Virginia.
“We’re very excited to help Ohio residents with affordable solutions to their rising electric bills,” said Jayson Waller, Co-Founder of POWERHOME SOLAR and Roofing. “Our mission is to continue to expand our reach to help more consumers save money, and gain energy independence over the rising costs of power by harnessing the sun’s natural energy to create a cleaner environment for future generations.”
Detroit Lions Solar Partnership
POWERHOME SOLAR also recently announced an official partnership with the Pro Football Team, Detroit Lions, and will be installing solar panels at Ford Field, Detroit’s home stadium, and developing strategies to help the organization address sustainability and environmental challenges. The company will also be giving back to the Michigan market by partnering with Detroit Lions Punter Sam Martin and the Sam Martin Foundation to help enhance the lives of children with physical & mental challenges, and to improve the welfare of animals.
POWERHOME SOLAR is one of the few American companies that sells, finances, designs, pulls permits, and installs solar energy systems and panels for residential and commercial applications 100% in-house, to best manage quality assurance and customer satisfaction, and to help local economies thrive by hiring area residents.
