Cleveland Browns going green with Power Home Solar
CLEVELAND — Local solar provider Power Home Solar and the Cleveland Browns have formed a new partnership that will help the Browns continue their ‘go green’ efforts this season.
Through the partnership, Power Home Solar will help the Browns install solar panels at FirstEnergy Stadium in the coming weeks, further assisting the energy efficiency and decreasing the carbon footprint through renewable energy solutions at the stadium.
Power Home Solar is one of the fastest growing American companies to specialize in solar energy and roofing services. The company will assist the NFL franchise with sustainability goals and responsible energy practices as part of the Browns’ green initiative. Power Home Solar will also help Cleveland Browns fans go green by offering easy, affordable clean energy solutions through promotions, giveaways, and education on solar power and sustainability this season.
“We are so proud to be partnering with the Cleveland Browns on this green initiative,“ said Jayson Waller, Co-Founder of Power Home Solar and Roofing. “Together, we’ll be building a movement that will not only help the organization address sustainability and environmental challenges for future generations of Browns players and fans, it will encourage today’s fans to think about ways they can go green for the greater good of Cleveland and our planet.”
With this new partnership, the Browns will join a short, but growing list of NFL franchise leaders utilizing solar energy to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and build healthier, more sustainable communities.
Power Home Solar, the leading residential solar energy provider in five states, is working with additional NFL players, franchises, and professional athletes to build stronger, healthier communities across the U.S. The company already has installed solar panels on the parking deck of the Detroit Lions’ stadium and at the team’s training facility.
