One of the great things about working for POWERHOME Solar is our ability to change lives every day, as we install solar panel systems that are expected to help reduce our customers’ electric bills and carbon footprints. We’re taking that mission to change lives to another level by partnering with the Detroit Lions, who are hosting a toy drive benefiting Toys for Tots at Ford Field during the team’s Dec. 15 game vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Those attending this game are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to one of the collection bins located outside Ford Field. Those who drop off a toy on gameday at the POWERHOME Solar booth in Pride Plaza will received a co-branded holiday ornament while supplies last. Donations also will be accepted at Gates A, B, C, D and G.
“Giving back to the community is an important part of POWERHOME’s fabric,” said POWERHOME CEO Jayson Waller. “That’s why it was so easy to say yes to partnering with the Lions in helping to bring as many people as possible a joyful holiday season, especially those who need it most.”
Toy drive not just limited to Dec. 15
The cool part about this toy drive is that it is not just limited to Dec. 15. The Lions will be collecting toys on Dec. 9-Dec. 13 at Gate G at Ford Field from 9 a.m. ET-5 p.m. ET. This gives people the additional opportunity to donate should they be unable to attend the Dec. 15 game.
POWERHOME Solar is an official partner of the Lions, as we installed solar panels on the Ford Field Parking Deck and at team headquarters in Allen Park in 2018. It’s great to have a partner that sees the value of solar energy as much as we do.
For more information on how your home or business can benefit from solar panels, call us at 800-765-2715, and we will be happy to discuss it with you. POWERHOME is a brand you can trust, and our use of American-made solar panels is also a huge selling point for our customers.
We hope to see you at Ford Field for the Dec. 15 game! Go Lions!
