Overview

The solar charge controller with maximum input power of 30W for 6V systems and 60W for 12V systems. This PWM charge controller features multiple protection functions, including overload and short circuit protection. If the current exceeds 1.5 times the rated current, the solar power charge controller will shut down for 5 minutes and then automatically recover. If the current reaches 3 times the rated current, the short circuit protection will be triggered immediately. Additionally, the 5A controller provides overvoltage protection, undervoltage protection, and over-discharge protection to ensure battery safety under various operating conditions. Wide range of applications for small solar home systems, outdoor camping, RVs, boats, and remote monitoring systems.

Ultra-low power consumption on standby
The charging principle adopts a three-stage charging algorithm, charging the battery once a week in a balanced manner, effectively preventing battery imbalance and sulphation phenomenon, and enhancing the service life of the battery.
The power MOSFET acts as an electronic switch without any mechanical switching and without any delay in protective action.

Does Exactly What a Small Solar Setup Needs

I grabbed this little controller to pair with a small panel I have for keeping an extra battery topped off in my shed. Hooked it up in a few minutes, and it just works. The LED lights tell you what's going on, so you don't need a fancy screen or anything. Nice to have the peace of mind knowing it's not going to overcharge the battery and cook it. For a small DIY solar project or just keeping a backup battery happy, this is all you need. Solid little unit.
