Ranked No. 6 nationally on the Top Residential Rooftop Installers list by Solar Power World in 2019.
In 2019, we were ranked No. 100 on the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, marking the second time in three years that we were in the top 100 on this esteemed list.
We were ranked No. 6 nationally among residential rooftop solar installers by Solar Power World in 2019, making us the No. 1 residential solar company in the Southeast and Midwest. Not content to stop at installing solar panels on homes, we formally rolled out our new commercial division in Michigan (2019) and have plans to do so in our other markets.
We have forged partnerships with 5 pro football teams (Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers), and another with baseball’s Cleveland Indians. We were named Michigan's Emerging Business of the Year by the state's Energy Innovation Business Council in 2018, and we have A+ ratings with the BBB in all of our markets.
POWERHOME Solar added another huge accomplishment to its resume in July, as it was ranked as the No. 6 residential rooftop solar provider in the U.S. – up six spots from a year ago. The annual rankings are validated and produced by Solar Power World magazine.
As the No. 1 residential rooftop solar provider in all eight of our markets, we love when that ranking extends to other things. The latest No. 1 recognition arrived on June 27 when CEO Jayson Waller won the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2019 Southeast Award in the Emerging Services category.
Winning two bronze Stevie Awards -- Fastest Growing Company of the Year and Energy Industry Innovation of the Year -- validates that POWERHOME is on the right path. Judges cited the company's growth in a relatively new field and its strong community foundation as factors in winning these awards.
Michigan-based Corp! Magazine honors companies that spur growth and innovation in the state’s economy. Winners are selected based on yearly growth, the number of Michigan locations, and the increase in the number of employees. POWERHOME is proud to be a winner of this prestigious award.
We received this honor from the Michigan Energy Innovation Business Council (MEIBC) in November 2018. Our robust growth in the state, combined with unique strategic partnerships and a willingness to support members of our community brought us to the forefront of expanding the use of advanced energy in Michigan.
A champion of clean energy, POWERHOME Solar’s CEO Jayson Waller has earned distinction as one of DBusiness Magazine’s five Champions of the New Economy. Waller says. “People want to progress. People want technology. People want choice. It’s our obligation to give them that choice.”
