    FAQ

Q1: Is it normal for the bidirectional transformer to get hot and the fan to make noise during operation?

This is a normal phenomenon. When a transformer is working, the internal core and coils generate heat. The built-in fan will start to cool it down when the load is high or the temperature rises, and some fan noise is a normal part of operation. Please place the transformer in a well-ventilated area without any obstructions and avoid covering the cooling vents.

Q2: What should I do if the air switch at home trips as soon as the bidirectional transformer is turned on?

High-power toroidal transformers can generate a strong inrush current when first turned on. If the circuit breaker at home has a too low rated current (like under 16A) or is too sensitive, it might trip mistakenly. It's recommended to use a 16A dedicated socket or choose a switch with delay/surge protection.
