Good backup lantern for emergencies or group use
This hand crank lantern does what it says. The three charging options (hand crank, solar, USB-C) work as described. One minute of cranking gives about 15 minutes of light - fine for finding things in the dark or setting up a tent. 350 lumens is decent for a small area (around 6m²), and the 50m spotlight mode is useful for checking distant objects.
The built-in 1200mAh battery can charge a phone slowly, which is a nice extra in a pinch. It's not a high-power floodlight, and it won't replace a proper headlamp for trail running. But as a spare lantern for a cabin, workshop, or group camping box, it's reliable. The metal hook and splash-resistant body (not waterproof) add practical value.
We bought several to keep in different work vehicles and emergency kits. Lightweight (298g) and easy to store. No complaints so far.
