Notes: Please solder and inspect the cable harness independently first. Only after confirming there are no errors should you plug in the balancing module.

  1. Solder the Cable Harness: Start connecting the cable harness from the main negative terminal B-. Then, connect the second black wire (first red wire) to the positive terminal of the first battery string, and continue connecting to the positive terminals of each subsequent battery string in sequence, until the last red wire is connected to the main positive terminal B+.
  2. Measure the Voltage: After connecting the entire cable harness, use a multimeter to check that the voltage of each string and the total voltage are within the normal range (3.0~4.15V for ternary lithium batteries, 2.5~3.6V for LiFePO4 batteries). If the voltage is abnormal, check for soldering issues such as cold solder joints, false soldering, or uneven solder points. Only after confirming the voltage is normal can you plug in the active balancing module.
  3. Start Using: Active balancing module will activate automatically when powered on. If the cable harness becomes disconnected, you will need to power it off and on again to reactivate. The module will automatically start balancing when the voltage of any battery string is ≥3.1+0.1V and stop when it drops to ≤3.0+0.1V. The green indicator light will be on when balancing is active and off when it is inactive.

FAQ

Q1: What is energy transfer battery balancer?

It is an intelligent device that balances batteries by "transferring" energy instead of "consuming" it. Traditional passive balancing dissipates the excess electricity of high-voltage batteries in the form of heat, while the energy transfer balancer acts like an efficient "energy porter," actively transferring electricity from battery cells with higher voltage to those with lower voltage. This method generates almost no additional heat, has extremely high energy utilization efficiency, and can work continuously during the entire stages of charging, discharging, and standing. As a result, it significantly increases the overall capacity of the battery pack, extends its lifespan, and fundamentally improves the safety and economy of the system.

Q2: What are the advantages of energy transfer battery balancer?

The core advantage of the energy transfer equalizer lies in its essential function of energy transfer. It acts like a precise cell-level energy dispatcher, actively transferring excess electricity to the battery cells that need supplementation, rather than passively limiting it. This achieves three fundamental improvements: first, lossless equalization, where energy is recycled among battery cells, making the system energy efficiency significantly higher than the traditional heat-dissipating and energy-consuming method; second, full-time domain maintenance, which can work continuously regardless of the state of fast charging, discharging, or standing, always maintaining optimal voltage consistency; finally, it endows the system with self-healing resilience, delaying the overall attenuation of the battery pack through continuous fine-tuning, and laying the foundation for long service life and high safety. This technological leap from energy-consuming voltage limiting to intelligent transfer redefines the value standard of battery management.
