    Overview

Engineered for millimeter-wave (mmWave) architectures, the PowerHome 2-Way Coaxial Power Divider (18-40 GHz) is built to withstand extreme high-frequency demands where standard splitters fail. Utilizing ultra-precise 2.92mm-Female (K-type) connectors and a specialized low-loss dielectric substrate, it maintains strict amplitude balance and tight phase tracking across the Ka and K bands. This premium components is a critical asset for 5G millimeter-wave benchmarking, 6G wireless research, automotive radar (77GHz/81GHz sub-harmonics) testing, and advanced satellite transponder networks.

    FAQ

Q1: What is the primary function of this power divider?
This component is designed to split a single high-frequency input signal into two separate output signals with minimal loss and high integrity, or conversely, to combine two signals into one.

Q2: Can this power divider be used as a combiner?
Yes, like most passive dividers, it is reciprocal and can be used in reverse as a power combiner. Please note the specified power handling is lower (1W) when used in combiner mode.

Q3: How do I ensure optimal performance when installing it in my system?
Ensure all connections are secure using proper coaxial cables rated for the frequency range. Maintain good impedance matching (50 Ohms) throughout your system and avoid sharp cable bends to minimize signal loss and reflections.

This Little Splitter Handles the High-Frequency Stuff Like a Champ
Needed to split a signal for a 5G test setup I've been working on, and this thing delivered. The build quality is impressive – feels like it could survive a drop on the bench without breaking. Connections are solid, no wiggling or signal dropouts. What I really appreciate is how well it maintains balance between the two outputs; both legs were nearly identical when I measured them. Also works in reverse as a combiner, which is a nice bonus. If you're doing anything in the millimeter-wave range and need a reliable splitter, this one's worth the money. No complaints at all.
