    FAQ

Q1: What delay settings should be noted when selecting an ATS for large motors and high inductive loads?

ATS is not recommended to directly switch large motor and high inductive loads; you need to pick delay conversion type dual-power automatic transfer switch and set proper pre-switching delay time based on actual load conditions to avoid excessive mechanical stress on motors, blown fuses and tripped circuit breakers induced by back electromotive force overcurrent from phase difference between two power sources.

Q2: What is the time requirement for ATS when generators supply emergency lighting?

If generator sets serve as emergency lighting backup power, the sum of generator startup time and ATS power switching time cannot exceed 15 seconds to meet emergency lighting power supply standards.
