When the ATS does not operate and the controller light is off, check if all wiring is tight and correctly connected; for 3-pole ATS, connect the neutral wire to the dedicated neutral terminal, reattach broken wires and replace blown fuses. If the controller power light flashes with a buzzer alarm, the causes include overvoltage, loose wiring, phase loss, reversed neutral and phase wires, or defective controllers.
