    FAQ

Q1: What should I do if my ATS trips while its indicator light stays on?

The tripping issue falls into two categories. If it’s triggered by vibration during transportation, manually close the molded case circuit breaker, switch the unit to automatic mode and press the reset button. If tripping occurs during operation, inspect the load first. For short-circuit faults, eliminate the short circuit before any manual or automatic switching; switching before troubleshooting risks secondary short circuits and personal injury. For overload tripping, check the total load of connected electrical devices. Replace the molded case circuit breaker if its rated current cannot match the load, as frequent tripping will burn the breaker’s contacts and damage the whole power supply system.

Q2: How to troubleshoot ATS that fails to switch after power-on with dark controller light or flashing controller power light?

When the ATS does not operate and the controller light is off, check if all wiring is tight and correctly connected; for 3-pole ATS, connect the neutral wire to the dedicated neutral terminal, reattach broken wires and replace blown fuses. If the controller power light flashes with a buzzer alarm, the causes include overvoltage, loose wiring, phase loss, reversed neutral and phase wires, or defective controllers. Readjust input lines and supply voltage, fasten loose connections, correct reversed wiring, re-plug the controller connector, or replace the controller if the fault persists.
