Overview

An 50kW single phase to three phase converter is a customizable power conversion system supporting 110-480 V single-phase input and 220-480 V three-phase output with selectable 50/60 Hz frequency, delivering pure sine wave output (≤3% THD) and >93% efficiency. It provides stable voltage, fast response ≤50 ms, and flexible configuration for various industrial loads.

Note:

  1. When the load is a motor, the phase converter should be more than 5~7 times the motor capacity.
  2. When the load is soft start + motor, the phase converter should be more than 3 times the motor capacity.
  3. When the load is VFD + motor, the phase converter should be more than 1.5~2 times the motor capacity.

FAQ

Q1: Can a single phase to three phase converter run any three phase motor?

A single phase to three phase converter can run many types of three phase motors, but compatibility depends on motor size, starting load, voltage, frequency, and application requirements. It is important to match the converter rating with the motor power and load condition. Heavy starting loads or continuous-duty equipment may require a higher-capacity model.

Q2: What are the advantages of using a single phase to three phase converter?

The main advantages include allowing three phase equipment to operate where only single phase power is available, reducing the need for expensive utility upgrades, improving equipment usability, and supporting stable motor operation. It is also a cost-effective solution for workshops and industrial users who want to expand production capacity without rebuilding electrical infrastructure.
